Jarrod Gale (pictured above) scored a natural hat trick and Hunter Arntsen stopped all 21 shots to record his second shutout of the season as the Coyotes blanked the Summerland Steam 5-0, Wednesday night at the Sun Bowl Arena.
Osoyoos took only 11-seconds to get on the board, thanks to Bronson Seymour.
The Coyotes led 3-0 after the first period, outshooting the Steam 19-2.
That held up all the way until the final two-and-a-half minutes, when Osoyoos tallied back-to-back empty net goals, including one from Nelson Webster while shorthanded.
Seymour also had a pair of assists, with Gale adding a helper to his three goal night.
It was arguably the Coyotes best effort of the season, which included two powerplay markers and a 45-21 shot advantage.
The win snaps a five game home ice losing streak and moves Osoyoos into third place in the Bill Ohlhausen Division, one point ahead of Kelowna and just a single point back of second place North Okanagan.
