Second period goals by Jack Henderson and Kaleb Kremp just 48-seconds apart were enough to help the Coyotes defeat the Steam 3-1, Saturday night in Summerland.
Zachary Park added some third period insurance.
The lone blemish against Kenny Gerow was an early first period penalty shot goal by the Steam, the only puck to beat him on 34 shots. Osoyoos put an even 40 shots on the Summerland net.
The win moves the Coyotes that much closer to clinching first place overall and assuring home ice advantage throughout the entire upcoming KIJHL playoffs.
Osoyoos hosts the North Okanagan Knights on Wednesday night (Feb. 9th) and the Sicamous Eagles on Saturday night (Feb. 12th). Both games get underway at 7:35 at the Sun Bowl Arena.
