It took 12 games before the Coyotes were beaten in regulation time. Looking flat for most of the contest, Osoyoos was doubled 4-2 by the Grizzlies, Friday night in Revelstoke.
The teams were tied 2-2 after 20 minutes, with Alex Ochitwa and Ethan O’Rourke scoring for the Coyotes.
Despite being badly outplayed in the second, Osoyoos kept things even until the final minute of the period when they allowed two goals in just 25-seconds. An uneventful third period was scoreless.
Rookie goaltender Kenneth Marquart lost his first start following six consecutive wins.
The Grizzlies outshot the Coyotes 37-28 in dropping Osoyoos to 9-1-1-1 on the season.
The Coyotes will look to bounce back on Saturday night when they visit the Sicamous Eagles.
