The Bill Ohlhausen Division leading Posse flexed its muscles on Friday night, defeating the visiting Osoyoos Coyotes 7-2.
The game really came down to three Osoyoos lulls and an anemic powerplay.
Princeton scored three goals in a span of 5:32 in the opening period to grab an early 3-0 lead.
After the Coyotes drew to within one at 3-2, the Posse tallied two more times late in the second period, just 20-seconds apart, to take a 5-2 advantage into the third.
The final period saw Princeton count two more goals in only 2:17.
Levi Brewer, with his first of the season, along with Ryan Konecsni, scored for Osoyoos.
The Coyotes went 0 for 7 on the powerplay, which looked abysmal on every opportunity.
The often exaggerated shot totals were 38-23 in favour of the Posse. Hunter Arntsen suffered the loss in net.
The Osoyoos Coyotes were a respectable 3-3 during their stretch of six consecutive road games, remaining tied with Kelowna for third place in the division and just four points back of second place North Okanagan.
