The Storm beat Osoyoos 4-1 on Saturday night in Kamloops.
The Coyotes trailed 1-0 after the first and 3-0 following 40 minutes of play. What hurt the most was allowing a powerplay goal with just one second left in the second period.
It wasn’t until the 15:56 mark of the third period that Osoyoos was able to get on the board when Mathieu Lessard tipped in a shot during the Coyotes lone man advantage opportunity.
An empty netter in the dying seconds with Brendan Gee on the bench for an extra attacker rounded out the scoring. Gee suffered the loss in goal.
Shots were 37-28 in favour of the Storm.
