Osoyoos cruised past Princeton 6-2, Friday night at the Sun Bowl Arena. The Coyotes lead 2-1 after the first and 4-1 following 40 minutes of play.
Alex Ochitwa kept up his two goals per game pace with a pair of markers, also adding a couple of assists. Payton McDonald-Corea and Kaleb Kremp both scored on the powerplay in the opening period. Levi Brewer, with his first ever junior hockey goal, and Josh Bourchier rounded out the rest of the Osoyoos offence. Tanner Johnson earned the win in net.
The 8-0-1-1 Coyotes are tied with Kamloops for top spot in the KIJHL at 18 points apiece, while having played two fewer games than the Storm.
It’ll likely be another closely contested match up on Saturday night when the Osoyoos Coyotes visit the Kelowna Chiefs.
