After dropping three in-a-row, Osoyoos has now won three straight. Tyler Seminoff (pictured above) scored an unassisted goal 40 seconds into three-on-three overtime, Friday night in Chase, to give the Coyotes a 4-3 victory over the Heat.
Seminoff went the length of the ice before firing home a shot from the left wing.
The teams traded goals in both the first and second period and each came up empty in the third.
It was 1-1 after the opening period, 3-3 following 40 minutes, with neither team able to score in the third period.
Scott Dyck, with his first of the season, Matthew Lowry and Austin Cooper had the other Osoyoos markers.
Seminoff, Cooper and Lowry each added an assist for a two point game.
Braxton Becker turned aside 36 of 39 shots to record his first Junior hockey win. Chase outshot the Coyotes 39-37.
The Bill Ohlhausen Division is an absolute log jam, with places two through six currently separated by just two points.
Osoyoos takes its 5-4-0-0 record into Saturday night’s (Oct. 19th) hosting of the Columbia Valley Rockies. Face-off time is 7:00 o’clock at the Sun Bowl Arena, featuring Game Sponsor the Owl Pub.
