Less than a week ago on home ice, the Osoyoos Coyotes came within one goal of the Kamloops Storm. However, it was a completely different story on the road as the sluggish Coyotes were thumped 7-1, Friday night in Kamloops.
The Storm led 2-0 after the opening period and 5-0 following 40-minutes.
Austin Rampone spoiled the shutout bid by scoring his first of the season, near the midway point of the third period.
Kamloops outshot Osoyoos 36-21, including 17-4 in the second period. Hayden Lee suffered the defeat in net.
This is arguably the toughest stretch all year for the Coyotes, who’s current four-game skid consists of losses against Revelstoke, Summerland and the Storm twice. It doesn’t get any easier. Saturday night (Nov. 11th), Osoyoos visits the league leading Sicamous Eagles. Next weekend, the Coyotes travel to Revelstoke, before hosting Beaver Valley,
