Bronson Seymour’s second goal of the game with just 3:56 left in regulation time lifted the Osoyoos Coyotes to a 5-4 come-from-behind victory over the Kelowna Chiefs, Friday night at the Sun Bowl Arena.
Garrett Kurtz, as well as Spencer Fleck and Jarrod Gale, both on the powerplay, also scored for Osoyoos. The Coyotes rallied from two goal deficits twice, 3-1 and 4-2, before delivering three unanswered.
Jarrod Gale and Levi Brewer had two assists apiece. Seymour (pictured above) added a helper to give himself a three point night.
Osoyoos outshot Kelowna 48-31. Hunter Arntsen earned the goaltending decision.
The win assured the Coyotes a third place finish in the Bill Ohlhausen Division and opening round playoff date with the North Okanagan Knights, starting next Friday night (Feb. 23rd) in Armstrong.
