The Coyotes climbed back to the .500 mark, recording their second straight win last night in Sicamous, 6-2 over the Eagles.
Hunter Jaman (pictured above) scored twice with Ethan Torres, Nick Vopat, Spencer Fleck and Koehn Obuck adding singles. Chase Kunn, Russell Weatherhead, Kohen Fisher and Brayden Vopat each had a pair of assists.
Jaiden Jakubowski was outstanding in net, stopping 45 of the 47 shots he faced, including 18 of 19 in the final period.
Osoyoos only led 2-0 after the first and 2-1 following 40 minutes. However, a four goal third period on just seven shots secured the victory.
The Coyotes have outscored their opponents 11-3 during the modest two game winning streak.
Thus far, individual player points have been by committee and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with spreading out the scoring. Six games into the regular season, only four players have yet to register a point.
The Osoyoos Coyotes can move to within two points of Merritt with a victory over the Centennials on Saturday night (Oct. 11th), getting underway at 7:00 o’clock at the Sun Bowl Arena.
