The Osoyoos Coyotes completed a perfect two-for-two road weekend by doubling the North Okanagan Knights 6-3, Saturday night in Armstrong.
Nelson Webster and Rylan Konecsni had two goals each, with both Affiliate Player Brogan Wood and Spencer Fleck scoring their first KIJHL goals. Wood’s turned out to be the game winner, early in the third, a period which saw the Coyotes tally three unanswered to break a 3-3 tie.
Scott Dyck contributed a couple of assists. Konecsni and Webster added a helper apiece for a three point night.
Osoyoos outshot North Okanagan 37-34 as Hunter Arntsen recorded his 10th victory of the season.
The result moves the Coyotes into a third place tie with Kelowna in the Bill Ohlhausen Division, now eight points clear of a playoff spot.
Six consecutive road games conclude next Friday night (Jan. 26th) at Princeton. The following evening (Jan. 27th), Osoyoos hosts Spokane, getting underway at 7:00 o’clock at the Sun Bowl Arena, featuring Game Sponsor FortisBC.
