Chiefs are a Bit Too Much for the Coyotes!

The Osoyoos Coyotes hung around for most of the game and kept things close during Friday night’s 4-1 home ice loss to Kelowna.

As a matter of fact, shots on goal were dead even at 34, prior to the Chiefs potting an empty netter.

Kelowna led 1-0 after the first period and 3-0 in the second, before Jake Torres got Osoyoos on the board late in the middle period.

Despite suffering the setback, Sartaj Dhami impressed in his Coyotes goaltending debut.

The offence is no doubt struggling however, having scored only 12 goals the past seven games of which just two have been wins.

A Parent Weekend continues on Saturday night (Nov. 29th) with a game against the Princeton Posse at the Sun Bowl Arena.  Start time is 7:00 o’clock, featuring Game Sponsor Boostoyoos Yoga & Wellness Bar.
