Coyotes Get Back on Track with Decisive Win over 100 Mile House!

Following Friday night’s hiccup in Chase, the Coyotes responded by thumping the Wranglers 5-1 on Saturday night in 100 Mile House.

It took less than a minute for Osoyoos to get on the board as Ethan McKinley (2G/1A) scored his first of two goals.  Kaleb Kremp and Ethan Floris also had opening period tallies, giving the Coyotes a 4-0 lead after 20 minutes, a period in which they dominated the shot clock 25-7.

Payton McDonald-Corea (1G/1A) made it 5-1 midway through the second period and Osoyoos cruised from there with little push back from the Wranglers.  Tegan Neuman added three assists in only his second game as a Coyote.

Final shots on goal were 54-22 in favour of Osoyoos, which improved to 17-2-1-3 for 38 points, maintaining its nine point lead over Summerland atop the Bill Ohlhausen Division.

The Coyotes enter the Christmas break following next Friday night’s trip to Princeton and Saturday night’s hosting of the Steam.
