Coyotes Get Back on Track with Dominant Performance!

It was undoubtedly the best effort of the season to date for the Osoyoos Coyotes, who defeated the Spokane Braves 5-1, Saturday night at the Sun Bowl Arena.
Ethan Torres scored twice with Spencer Fleck, Soren Brons-Douville and Koehn Obuck adding singles. Josh Hanson had a pair of assists.
The Coyotes led 1-0 after the opening period and 4-1 following 40 minutes, going 3 for 7 on the powerplay and overpowering the Braves with physicality throughout the game.
Shots were 43-29 in favour of Osoyoos as Matthew Sowinski earned his first Junior hockey win in net.
Next up is Friday night’s (Oct. 10th) trip to Sicamous, prior to Saturday night’s (Oct. 11th) hosting of Merritt. The latter is sponsored by the Watermark Beach Resort, featuring the 15 Park Bisto and includes a Thanksgiving “Ham & Turkey Toss.”
