The North Okanagan Knights completed a four game sweep of the Osoyoos Coyotes with Tuesday night’s 5-2 victory at the Sun Bowl Arena.
North Okanagan built a 3-0 first period lead and never looked back. The teams traded goals in the second and third. Bronson Seymour had both Osoyoos tallies.
Hunter Arntsen started his fourth straight game in net for the Coyotes, giving way to back-up Hayden Lee after the opening period.
Osoyoos actually outshot the Knights 48-45. However, it’s North Okanagan who moves on to the Bill Ohlhausen Division, Best-of-Seven Final against either Princeton or Kelowna.
The Knights recorded five goals in all four games, dominating much of the series, outscoring Osoyoos 20-7.
It marks the second year in a row the Coyotes were eliminated by North Okanagan in the first round of the playoffs.
