Seven games into the regular season, the Osoyoos Coyotes find themselves with a KIJHL best 12 points. Their 5-0-1-1 record also leaves them as the only team yet to be defeated in regulation time. Wednesday night at the Sun Bowl Arena, Osoyoos dumped Summerland 6-2. Trailing 1-0 after the opening period, the Coyotes outscored the Steam 6-1 over the next 40 minutes. Ryan Bester, Jack Henderson, Ethan O’Rourke, Crae Dawson, newcomer Alex Ochitwa and Kaleb Kremp had the Osoyoos goals, with Payton McDonald-Corea contributing three assists. Next up for the Coyotes is Saturday night’s hosting of the Princeton Posse, beginning at 7:35.
