Osoyoos Hangs on to Tie the Series!

Ethan McKinley and Zachary Park each scored twice to help the Coyotes hold off the Steam 5-3, Tuesday night in Summerland, to even the Bill Ohlhausen Division, Best-of-Seven Final at 2-2.

Osoyoos had actually built a 3-0 advantage early in the second period, only to allow the Steam to storm back with three goals in just 4:12 to tie the game 3-3.

Park’s second of the night in the final two minutes of the middle period restored the Coyotes lead at 4-3, with McKinley providing some insurance with his second in the last two minutes of the third period.

Tyler Badger had the other Osoyoos goal.  Payton McDonald-Corea and Johnny Jenkinson contributed two assists apiece.  Kenneth Marquart made 18 saves for the win.  The Coyotes outshot Summerland 32-21.

It seems that nothing is safe in this series as the Steam has blown three goal cushions twice and a two goal lead once, while Osoyoos let a three goal margin slip away in this one.

Game Five takes place on Thursday night (Mar. 10th) at 7:35, back at the Sun Bowl Arena.
