Short-Staffed Coyotes Display Their Depth in Win Over the Knights!

Despite dressing just 14 skaters and finishing the game with only 13, Osoyoos still managed to knock off North Okanagan 7-2, Wednesday night in Armstrong.

Seven different goal scorers got in on the act, including Charlie Lockhart (with his first of the season), Tegan Neuman (Shorthanded), Noah Eisenhut (Powerplay), Ethan McKinley, Johnny Jenkinson (Shorthanded), Nathan Hannon and Ethan O’Rourke.  McKinley and Neuman also added two assists apiece.

Four third period goals and five unanswered tallies allowed the Coyotes to run away with the game and hit the 70-point mark in the standings.

Shots were 38-37 in favour of Osoyoos, with Kenneth Marquart looking solid in picking up the victory.

The Coyotes complete the regular season by playing a home-and-home against the Posse, Friday night in Princeton and Saturday night at Osoyoos.

The same two teams will square off in the opening round of the playoffs, beginning Tuesday, February 22nd at the Sun Bowl Arena.
