The Osoyoos Coyotes were overmatched in Kamloops on Friday night, dropping a 7-1 decision to the Storm.
Kamloops took just 11 seconds to get on the board and things went from bad to worse. It had been a while since the Coyotes suffered such a lopsided result. Mason Rudolph scored the lone Osoyoos goal roughly eight minutes into the third period.
The Storm had the Coyotes chasing the play for most of the night, tallying twice in the first two periods and three more times in the third.
Shots were 34-24 for Kamloops. Matthew Sowinski took the loss in net. Certainly not his best game of the season, however the defensive support wasn’t often present.
Osoyoos looks to bounce back quickly, Saturday night (Nov. 8th) at the Sun Bowl Arena, when it hosts the Castlegar Rebels beginning at 7:00 o’clock.
