Kamloops handed Osoyoos its third straight loss, Saturday night at the Sun Bowl Arena. A goal just 28-seconds into the final period gave the Storm a 2-1 victory.
Scott Dyck scored his team leading 10th of the season on the powerplay at the 15:29 mark of the first period, a lead the Coyotes nursed for over 20-minutes, before Kamloops even things at 1-1 just as a two-man advantage was expiring late in the second.
The Storm controlled the majority of the play, outshooting Osoyoos 40-24, with Hunter Arntsen suffering the defeat. The Coyotes failed to take advantage of a short-staffed Kamloops team that dressed only 15 regulars.
As for the now 3-8-2-0 Osoyoos Coyotes, they have the KIJHL’s lowest point total as preparations begin to visit the Storm next Friday night (Nov. 10th).
