The Osoyoos Coyotes rode the usual stellar goaltending of Hunter Arntsen to a 5-1 shocker over the Posse, Friday night in Princeton.
Don’t let the lopsided result mislead you. Osoyoos did play a fairly solid game, taking advantage of the chances given. However, the storyline continues to be the magnificence of Arntsen, who stopped 55 of 56 shots, many of the difficult variety.
Scott Dyck, Bronson Seymour (powerplay), Jayden Attwood (powerplay), Austin Rampone and Jonas Bourchier (shorthanded) scored for the Coyotes, the latter two into an empty net. Osoyoos led 2-0 after the first and 3-1 entering the third period, despite managing just 19 shots the entire game.
The Posse has only lost seven of its first 28 games, two of which are courtesy of the Coyotes.
