Coyotes Continue to Dominate the Chiefs!

The Osoyoos Coyotes tallied five times on the powerplay in defeating the Kelowna Chiefs 7-4, Friday night at the Rutland Arena.

Coletyn Boyarski led the offence with two goals and one assist.  Ethan McKinley had a goal and two helpers.  Carter Yarish, Marko Pavlovic, Jack Pass and Jack Henderson rounded out the Osoyoos scoring.

The Coyotes led 3-1 after the first and 7-3 following 40 minutes, outshooting the Chiefs 53-28.

Kenny Gerow earned the victory in net, which could turn out to be a costly one as both Carter Yarish and Zach Leslie left the game with respective upper body injuries.  Their status should be updated soon.

Osoyoos has won three in-a-row and now nine consecutive road games.

The weekend concludes on Saturday night (January 21st) in Summerland.
