Coyotes Set Two Franchise Records in Defeating Princeton!

The end result on Saturday night at the Sun Bowl Arena looked more like a low scoring football game rather than anything hockey related as the Coyotes outgunned Princeton 13-7.  The 13 goal output established a franchise record for the most in one game.  Another offensive team record was a seven goal second period.

Osoyoos tallied shorthanded just 36-seconds into the game, but only led 3-2 by the end of the opening period.  After that, it was seemingly a ‘beer league’ style of back and forth play which saw the two clubs combine for 20 goals when all was said and done.

Jack Henderson had a seven point night, with three goals and four assists.  Zach Park’s six points consisted of two goals and four assists.  Not to be outdone, Ethan O’Rourke contributed four goals and one assist to the free for all.  Crae Dawson, Kaleb Kremp, Ryan Bester and Noah Eisenhut also scored for the Coyotes, who outshout the Posse 49-37.

The result keeps (6-0-1-1) Osoyoos in top spot of the Bill Ohlhausen Division, just two points ahead of second place Kelowna.  The Coyotes next visit the Chiefs on Friday, October 29th.
