Osoyoos Makes Quick Start Stand Up!

The Coyotes scored four first period goals in a span of less than 10 minutes and cruised to a 4-1 victory over the Posse, Friday night in Princeton.

Jack Henderson had a hat trick, with Nathan Hannon adding the other.  Ethan McKinley assisted on all four markers, three of which came on the powerplay.  Alex Ochitwa and Payton McDonald-Corea each contributed a pair of helpers.

Kenneth Marquart stopped 36 of the 37 shots he faced in the Osoyoos net.

The Posse actually outshot the Coyotes 37-32, including 15-7 in the third period.

Both clubs often looked as though they were just going through the motions of a meaningless game in the standings, trying their best to prevent any injuries.

The Coyotes conclude the regular season by hosting Princeton on Saturday night (Feb. 19th) at 7:35 at the Sun Bowl.  The two teams square off in the opening round of the playoffs, beginning Tuesday night (Feb. 22nd) in Osoyoos.
