Despite missing several key players due to injury and/or suspension, the Coyotes displayed the extreme depth of their roster in thumping Kelowna 7-1, Wednesday night at the Sun Bowl Arena.
Seven different players got on the scoresheet with goals, including Ryan Bester, Crae Dawson, Kaleb Kremp, Ryland Thomsen, Levi Lamotte, Luke Chakrabarti and Nathan Hannon. Hannon and Lamotte also added two assists apiece.
Kenny Gerow picked up the victory in net, although not overly tested, still solid when called upon as Osoyoos outshot the Chiefs 41-22.
The league-leading Coyotes remain perfect at home at 9-0-0-0 and with the win, move five points ahead of Summerland atop the Bill Ohlhausen Division.
The 100 Mile House Wranglers come to town on Saturday night.
