Third Straight Win Marks the First Road Victory of the Season!

Three third period goals helped the Coyotes pull away and double the Eagles 4-2, Friday night in Sicamous.

Jack Henderson gave Osoyoos a 1-0 lead after the first period.  The Eagles scored late in the second to even things 1-1 following 40 minutes of play.

Ethan McKinley’s powerplay goal in the opening minute of the third made it 2-1, a measure of redemption after missing on a penalty shot earlier in the game.  Zach Park put the Coyotes ahead 3-1, again with the man advantage.  Sicamous pulled back to within one a short time later.  However, it was Park with his second of the night in the final three minutes that secured the two points for Osoyoos.  Carter Yarish and Hunter Harwood each contributed a pair of assists.

Rhett Harkot picked up his second consecutive win in net, stopping 34 of the 36 shots he faced.  The Coyotes outshot the Eagles 39-36.

Osoyoos looks to keep its streak alive on Saturday night, when the Kelowna Chiefs come to town for a 7:35 start.
