Yarish Pots Three in Victory Over the Heat!

Carter Yarish’s hat trick helped power the Coyotes to their third straight win on the road, 5-3 over the Chase Heat on Friday night.

Yarish kind of made it a ‘double’ hat trick of sorts by scoring one goal shorthanded, one at even strength and one on the powerplay.  He currently ranks third in the KIJHL with 14 goals and 29 assists for 43 points in just 21 games, brandishing a league best 2.05 points per game.

Hunter Harwood and Zach Park also tallied for Osoyoos, who led 2-1 after the first period and 3-1 following 40 minutes.  Jarrod Gale, Jack Henderson and Ethan McKinley each added a pair of assists.

The Coyotes outshot the Heat 42-36, with Rhett Harkot earning the decision between the pipes.

In improving to 13-7-3-0 on the season, the Osoyoos Coyotes sit alone in second place in the Bill Ohlhausen Division.  It’s “Christmas Toy Toss” night on Saturday (Dec. 10th) when the Summerland Steam come to town for a 7:35 start at the Sun Bowl, the final home game prior to the holiday break.
